Army Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) Program
The mission of the program is to provide basic military education and, in conjunction with other college disciplines, to develop individual character and attributes essential to an Army Officer. Benedict College offers an Army Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) program to all qualified students on a voluntary basis through a partnership agreement with the University of South Carolina Gamecock Battalion. Classroom instruction and leadership lab for military science courses take place on the University of South Carolina campus. Students upon graduation will have an opportunity to serve as Army 2nd Lieutenants on active duty, the US Army Reserve or the with National Guard.
