Benedict College is pleased to partner with the community and to rent its facilities for community use. A prime example of such a partnership is the relationship between Benedict College and Allen University for the use of our stadium.
The stadium rents for $7,500 for day games and $10,000 for night games due to the substantial cost of stadium lighting for evening events. Our rates are clearly established and are based on actual costs to the institution, including utilities, housekeeping, security, maintenance, staffing etc. and are comparable to those charged by other facilities of similar size, scope and quality. Previous instances of unauthorized discounting of these fees have resulted in significant losses to the institution and increased our deferred maintenance costs. This practice cannot be continued as it is detrimental to the overall financial health of Benedict College.
