These selected members must attend or send a delegate to each scheduled Tiger House /Student Senate Meeting. Please include the names of the Tiger House/Student Senate representatives on the Organization Officers Listing form enclosed in the registration packet. Optional: We courage each registered campus organization to participate in the Mister and Miss Benedict College Coronation. Participation is optional, but strongly encouraged. Organizations that chooses to participate will need to select one female and one male to represent their org. as a Campus Organization Queen and Escort. All Queens and Escorts formal attire and accessories expenses will need to be covered by the representing organization. SGA nor The Office of Student Activities will be covering these expenses. Participating organizations will receive additional Coronation information at a later date. Please include the names of the Coronation Campus Org. Queen and Escort representatives on the Organization Officers Listing form enclosed in the registration packet. All Campus Facility Request Forms needs to be completed with appropriate signatures and submitted to the Office of Student activities at least ten working days prior to the event. All event and activity posters, signs, and other advertising materials must be approved before posting on campus. Immediately following the event or activity please remove and discard all materials. Any event or activity held in the David H. Swinton Campus Center that requires set-up/breakdown, a work-order must be completed and submitted to Physical Plant. A set-up diagram must be accompanied with each facility request. The Office of Student Activities is only responsible for providing campus organizations with the requested and approved facility. All other accommodations will need to be coordinated through Physical Plant and/or Perkins Management Food Services. Members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), must have an on-campus advisor and off-campus advisor. On an annual basis, all NPHC organizations must obtain Liability Insurance and provide the Office of Student Activities with a copy of Liability of Insurance by the requested deadline. As a campus organization Advisor he/she shall agree and adhere to the following roles and responsibilities: Take an active role in advising the campus organization. Know the general purpose of the organization and be familiar with all provisions outlined in the organization’s constitution and bylaws to ensure that it coincides with the regulations and policies of the College. Advisor must be present at all organization scheduled meetings, events, activities, etc. Be knowledgeable and provide appropriate signatures on all campus organization paperwork and requests. Shall motivate and encourage members to achieve academic excellence, leadership, and character development. Offer guidance to the organization on goal setting, organization management, program planning, problem solving and group evaluation. Knowledgeable of the organization’s process for obtaining new members. Assist the organization with proper management of its funds. Report to the Office of Student Activities immediately of any activities which may or will violate the College’s policies.
