  • Encyclopedia of Life– acknowledges the many life-forms on Earth – of animals, plants, fungi, protists and bacteria – is scattered around the world in books, journals, databases, websites, specimen collections, and in the minds of people everywhere.
  • Grammarly– check papers for spelling, style, and grammatical errors.
  • Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy– the purpose of the IEP is to provide detailed, scholarly information on key topics and philosophers in all areas of philosophy.
  • MIT OpenCourseWare– The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) provides free online access to teaching materials for nearly all of its courses, allowing students and teachers to enjoy unrestricted access to these resources.
  • National Criminal Justice Reference Service (NCJRS)– an Office of Justice Programs resource, offers juvenile and criminal justice information to support research, policy, and program development worldwide.

  • Stanford Engineering Everywhere– a free resource designed to provide students across the U.S. with access to some of the courses and tools used by Stanford undergraduates to master the basics of computing, artificial intelligence and electrical engineering. These materials are also available to educators everywhere.

  • Black Owned Business Network– the site equips black businesses with tools to strengthen networking abilities and provides valuable business resources that enables blacks to close the gap in the profit margin between black owned businesses and non–black owned businesses.

  • EconBiz– a resource primarily for economic and business studies. A service of the Leibniz Information Centre for Economics, it offers access to full texts online, with the option of searching for open access material only.
  • Google Finance– Google’s stock market, bonds, news, and daily financial trends.
  • Morning Star– a leading provider of independent investment research in North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia. They offer an extensive line of products and services for individual investors, financial advisors, asset managers, and retirement plan providers and sponsors.
  • National Association of Black Accountants– a nonprofit membership association dedicated to bridging the opportunity gap for black professionals in the accounting, finance and related business professions. NABA represents more than 200,000 black professionals in these fields.
  • Open Textbook Library– provides a growing catalog of free, peer-reviewed, and openly-licensed business textbooks on an array of different topics.
