Furthermore, the Archives Center reserves the right not to furnish documents to researchers involve in civil lawsuits or for litigation purposes. The researcher, by signing this form, acknowledges that receipt of photographs, documents, and other materials from the Benedict College Archives Center is not an authorization to publish. Separate written application for permission to publish must be made to the Center. Researchers who plan eventual publication of a work should make inquiry concerning overall restrictions on publication before beginning a research. To the extent that it may be proper to do so, Benedict College will ordinarily grant the usual publication rights to applicants. However, in granting permission to publish, Benedict College does not surrender its own right thereafter to publish any of the material from its collection or grant permission to others to publish them. If permission to publish is granted, credits must be cited in the published work.
