JOB TITLE: Part-time Faculty DIVISION: Academic Affairs
SUPERVISOR’S TITLE: Department Chair DEPARTMENT: Accounting and Finance
BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting as directed by the appropriate academic school administrator, dean, or chair; meet the school’s assessment requirements; work collaboratively with colleagues.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- MS Office Suite
- Learning Management System
- Communication Programs (e.g., MS Teams)
- Classroom Technology (e.g.,Smartboard)
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- Education: Ph.D. or terminal degree in accounting (ABD with a documented plan for completion may be considered) or CPA with master’s degree and significant work experience
- Commitment to excellence in college teaching and to working in a multicultural environment that fosters diversity
- Ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning
- Ability to demonstrate collegiality and a sound work ethic
- Preferred – 3 or more years of teaching experience in higher education; experience in industry/business; record of teaching effectiveness; experience with learning management systems
