· Family Law and Public Policy

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

· Teach course(s) as assigned

· Contribute to the transformative learning experience for students

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· Strong track record of successful college teaching or exceptional professional experience in the discipline

· Proficiency with development and implementation of courses using Open Educational Resources

· Demonstrated capacity to facilitate student learning and engagement

· Demonstrated commitment to professional responsibilities, student development, and service

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Qualifications

· Master’s degree in child and family, development, marriage and family, or closely related area

· Commitment to excellence in college teaching, and to working in a multicultural environment that fosters diversity

· Ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning

· Ability to demonstrate collegiality and a sound work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

· Two (2) or more years of successful teaching experience in higher education

· Record of teaching effectiveness

· Proficiency with the Canvas Learning Management System and online teaching and learning
