Established in 2002 the Benedict College Business Development Center was created with a mission to expand the college’s role in addressing the economic and business development needs of small and minority businesses.

The BDC’s Mission

Our mission is to act as a catalyst for economic development by increasing the capacity of entrepreneurs, and small and minority owned businesses in Columbia and throughout South Carolina.

The BDC’s Core Objectives
