Lester Walker

In high demand as a solo artist, Mr. Walker has been a featured artist at many top music venues including The Atlanta Jazz Festival, The JVC Jazz Festival, and The Seagram's Jazz Festival. In addition to jazz festivals, Mr. Walker has performed in concert at the world renowned, Spivey Hall, and internationally as a recitalist at the Eugene O 'Neil Theater in San Jose, Costa Rica. In commercial music settings Lester Walker has been on stage with many of today's music giants including, Michael Brecker, Bela Fleck, Dave Matthews, The O'Jays, The Temptations, REO Speedwagon, The Captain and Tennile, Delia Reese, Little Anthony, The Nelson Riddle Orchestra, The Drifters and many others. Mr. Walker is a graduate of The University of Alabama and Georgia State University. Currently, Mr. Walker is an Assistant Band Director and Instructor of Music for Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina. He is also a founding member of The Standard.
