Juanita Simons Scott Conference Room Dedication

On Tuesday, May 15, 2007 in honor of Dr. Juanita Simons Scott, the Juanita Simons Scott Conference Room Dedication was held at location in Alumni Hall on Benedict College campus.

The Juanita Simons Scott Conference Room houses two oversized executive tables and seats twenty. It is used primarily for science, technology, engineering and mathematics planning and committee meetings. Additionally, it will be used to host our Institute for Science and Mathematics Teaching partners including teachers, university faculty, industry and other collaborators. Students also present the results of their scientific research to faculty and industry partners in this facility; and use the conference room to host executive meetings for the many science, mathematics and engineering organizations.
