Emmie Davis received the 2005 Outstanding Honors Faculty Award At the 14th Annual Conference of the National Association of African American Honors Programs (NAAAHP) held on November 2-6, 2005 in Jackson, MS, Professor Emmie Davis of Department of English, Foreign Languages, and Mass Communication was presented the 2005 Outstanding Honors Faculty Award. The annual award is given to a distinguished honors faculty member who has demonstrated excellence in honors education practices through research, teaching, and service.
