Gov. Sanford recognizes Benedict's Dean of STEM for excellence

Dr. Stacey Franklin Jones, Dean for the School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) at Benedict College was recently awarded the 2007 Governor's Award for Excellence in Scientific Awareness by South Carolina's Gov. Mark Sanford. This award recognizes Dr. Jones for impacting many lives through her outreach efforts in communities and higher education. This award also commends Dr. Jones for setting an example of excellence in teaching and research.
