2006 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships

Men:

On Thursday, May 25, 2006, the Men's 4x100m Relay Team advanced to the Finals with a time of 40.78. And on Saturday, May 27, 2006 in the Finals, the Men's 4x100m Relay Team finished in 8th place with a time of 41.14. The team consist of LaQuan Sumpter (photo), Brandon Samuels (photo), Lamario Hall (photo), and Joshua Williams (photo). They came into the championships ranked 16th in the nation.

Joshua Williams (photo): Finished 10th in the nation in the Men's 100m dash with a time of 10.64 on Thursday, May 25, 2006. And on Friday, May 26, 2006, he finished 16th in the Men's 200m dash. He came into the championships ranked 14th in both events.

On Friday, May 26, 2006, the David Wheeler (photo) advanced to the Finals in the Men's 110 Meter Hurdles with a time of 14.35. And on Saturday, May 27, 2006 in the Finals, he finished in 6th place with a time of 14.13. He came into the championships ranked 3rd.

Women:

Sherly Sylvester (photo): Finished 14th in the nation in the Women's Long Jump and 14th in the Women's 400 Meter Hurdles on Thursday, May 25, 2006. He came into the championships ranked 7th in the Long Jump and 10th in the 400 Meter Hurdles.

Lindsay Colclough (photo): Finished 14th in the Women's 100 Meter Hurdles on Friday, May 26, 2006. She came into the championships ranked 14th.

Petra McDonald (photo): Fouled out on all of her jumps on Thursday, May 25, 2006. She came into the championships ranked 8th in the nation.
