BC Student/Athlete among All Americans at the 2010 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships: Melinda Bastian - Javelin.
2010 NCAA Division II Track and Field Regional Honors: Women's Field Athlete of the Year
South Region - Melinda Bastian: Bastian, a senior from Nassau, Bahamas, enters the NCAA Championship as the fourth seed in the javelin, having recorded a season's best of 152-5 (46.45m). Bastian recorded a heptathlon score of 4,580 for a top-25 national mark this season. Bastian won the SIAC title in the heptathlon, javelin and shot put and scored 48 points total with additional scoring performances in the high jump, long jump, and triple jump.
2010 SIAC Track & Field Championships (Atlanta, GA):
BC Women (145 pts) and BC Men (156 pts) each finished in 2nd place (Runner-Up).
Field MVP, Women: Melinda Bastian (43 pts in field events).
Most Outstanding Athlete: Melinda Bastian (53 pts while participating in seven events).

At the Winthrop University Asics Invitational on March 26, 2010, two qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championships with the Provisional marks:
Christopher A.J Smith finished 1st in the Men's Decathlon with a mark of 6436 points.
Melinda Bastian ranked #1 in the Women's Javelin in the NCAA Division II, finished 2nd in the Women's Heptathlon with a mark of 4580 points.
Dickson Toroitich finished top 8 with a time of 15:30 in the Men's 5000m run and Hadrien Choukroun finished 4th overall in the Decathlon with a mark of 5431 points.
On January 29, 2010, Jamar Quintez Holmes, Sophomore from Millen, GA finished 1st in the Men's 500 Meter Run with a time of 1:07.00 at the 2010 Dick Taylor Carolina Classic at UNC-Chapel Hill in a field of 26 runners, including most from NCAA Division I schools.
