The Tigers finished the 2011 regular softball season with a record of 24 - 14 (16 - 10 Conference, 3rd place in the SIAC East Division).

2011 SIAC Softball All-Conference & All-Academic Teams

SIAC Player of the Year: Cherae Rice

In 2011, Rice, a native of Columbia, SC, proved to be one of the best players in all of Division II especially at the plate as she hit an impressive 14 home runs, 11th best nationally as of 04/21/2011, along with 65 RBIs. The senior third baseman currently leads Division II with a .553 batting average and .669 on-base percentage along with runs batted in per game with 1.71. She also ranks second in the country in both slugging percentage and walks per game with 1.155 and .92 respectively. In addition, Rice scored 1.47 runs per game in the regular season, which ranked third nationally. Defensively, she was nearly perfect in the regular season with a .992 fielding percentage.

Second Team: Lakeeya Ramsey, Sophomore, Pitcher.
