S. Reynolds
Coach
Reynolds came to Benedict from Aiken High School
where he served as an assistant football coach.
Reynolds,
who brought 15 years of experience to the post, also
serves as the Tigers' men and women's track and field
coach.
He
launched his career in coaching in Pomona, California
at Ganesha High School in 1984.
In
1986, he moved to the college level as an assistant
at Pomona-Pitzer College in Claremont, California
where he remained for three seasons.
Reynolds
moved to South Carolina in 1989 as an assistant at
South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, SC.
At
Aiken High School, Reynolds helped in guiding the
Hornets to runner-up in the state AAAA class in 1999
and 2000.
A
native of Los Angeles, Reynolds is a graduate of
the University of La Verne in La Verne, California.
He
and his Wife, the former LaLita Ashley, reside in
Aiken. His son and granddaughter Chyna live in Maryland.
