Coach Brian Wajert
(Co-Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks)
Coach Brian Wajert is the Co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Benedict College.
His college coaching stops since 1987 have included University of the South, Alabama A&M, Southern Utah, Kent State, Pittsburgh, Maryville College, Salisbury State University and Hobart College.
During a 3-year period as offensive coordinator at the Naval Academy Preparatory School, Wajert's (pronounced Way-Jurt) offenses averaged 30 points per game, nearly 400 yards per game and compiled a 22-8 record.
Wajert lettered one year at Hobart College (NY) and earned a political science degree in 1986. He also earned a Master's Degree in Education counseling at Salisbury State University in 1989.
He was a three-sport athlete at New Castle (PA) High School graduating in 1981. The New Castle, Pa. native lives in Columbia, SC.
