Quarterback Ramon Robinson and defensive end Kevin Washington has signed a contract with the Charleston Swamp Foxes of the Arena Football League 2.

Washington, a 6-3, 240-pound Columbia native who prepped at Lower Richard High School, was the fifth leading tackler for Benedict last season with 38 tackles ~ 10 unassisted. Eight of those stops were for losses of 98 yards. He also had five quarterback sacks, two pass breakups, one fumble recovery and a forced fumble.

Terms of the contract were not revealed.

Arena Football is played indoors with a padded surface 85-feet wide and 50 yards long with eight-yard endzones. There is a 20-man roster with eight players on each team. Players play offense and defense with the exception of the kicker, quarterback and kick returner. Four offensive players must line up on the line of scrimmage. Three defensive players must be down linemen in a three-point stance. There are four 15 minute quarters with a 15-minute halftime.
