On Monday, November 9, 2009, the NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee announced the participants for the 2009 NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships. Representing the South Region as one of two is Dickson Toroitich (Benedict College). He is the only National Qualifier from the SIAC Conference.

NCAA Division II South Region Cross-Country Championship 2009 in Dover, FL (Host: University of Tampa):

• Men's Individual Results (Top 10): Dickson Toroitich, 8th place, 33:04.

2009 SIAC Cross Country Championships in Atlanta, GA (Sat., Oct. 24, 2009):

• BC Men finished in 2nd place and BC Women finished in 5th place.

2009 SIAC Men Top Ten Finishers:

• 1, Dickson Toroitich, 28:46.17
• 4, Charles Chirchir, 29:13.58

2009 SIAC Men's All Academic Team:
