Player of the Week (as of November 22, 2010)

Kennie Eberhart (Guard/Forward, 6'5", SR, Augusta, GA)
Eberhart, a native of Augusta, GA, scored 20 points on 7-13 shooting from the field in a tough loss to Augusta State, 65-59. The 6-4 junior also added four rebounds, two assists, and a steal.

Men's Newcomer of the Week (as of November 22, 2010)

Antrjuan Albright (Guard, 6'2", JR, Augusta, GA)
Albright, native of Augusta, GA, scored 15 points off the bench for the Tigers in a 65-59 loss to Augusta State. The 6-3 junior guard was six of eight from the field, including three of five from behind the arc.

Men's Newcomer of the Week (as of January 10, 2011)

Marcus Goode (Center, 6'10", SO, Chapin, SC)
Goode, a transfer from Marshall University, averaged 13 points and 8.5 rebounds in two games. The 6-10 native of Chapin, SC also averaged three blocks and one assist per contest while helping lead Benedict to a 2-0 record with victories over Clark Atlanta and Lane.

Men's Newcomer of the Week (as of January 17, 2011)

Antrjuan Albright (Guard, 6'2", JR, Augusta, GA)
Albright, a native of Augusta, GA, had a strong week, averaging 15.3 points in three games, including a 19-point performance against Albany State which included five three-pointers. The 6-2 guard also averaged 2.6 assists, 1.3 rebounds, and a steal while helping lead the Tigers to a 3-0 record with victories over Kentucky State, Albany State, and Fort Valley State, moving them into a first place tie with Stillman in the SIAC.

Men's Newcomer of the Week (as of January 31, 2011)

Marcus Goode (Center, 6'10", SO, Chapin, SC)
Goode, a 6-10, 255-pound sophomore, continued his impressive season, averaging 22.6 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocks in three games. The Chapin, SC native had his best game of the week against conference rival Claflin in which he had 25 points, 12 rebounds, and four blocks. Goode helped the Tigers to a 2-1 record for the week, with victories against Claflin and Tuskegee, to keep them in the hunt for the regular season conference title.

Men's Newcomer of the Week (as of February 7, 2011)

Marcus Goode (Center, 6'10", SO, Chapin, SC)
Goode, a native of Chapin, SC, averaged 13.3 points and 12.6 rebounds in three games. The 6-10 center also averaged 3.3 blocks, helping lead the Tigers to a 3-0 record and sole possession of first place in the SIAC. Goode was named top men's newcomer for the second consecutive week.

Player of the Week (as of February 21, 2011)

Marcus Goode (Center, 6'10", SO, Chapin, SC)
Goode was dominant this past week, averaging 23 points and 13 rebounds in three wins over Albany State, Fort Valley State, and Paine. Defensively, the Chapin, SC native averaged an astonishing six blocks per game. The 6-10, 255-pound center posted his second triple-double of the season with 30 points, 19 rebounds, and 10 blocks against Paine. Goode currently leads the SIAC with 11.7 rebounds per game and 3.9 blocks per game. He also ranks fourth in scoring averaging 17.4 points per contest.

Player of the Week (as of February 28, 2011)

Xavier Collier (Point Guard, 5'11", JR, Augusta, GA)
Collier, a native of Augusta, GA, had 25 points and five assists in Benedict's only game last week. The 5-11 point guard also had a steal and a rebound in an 83-70 win over Morehouse to help the Tigers clinch the men's regular season title.

Player of the Week (as of February 28, 2011)

Marcus Goode (Center, 6'10", SO, Chapin, SC)
Goode, a native Chapin, SC, continued to impress this week with 22 points and 14 rebounds in an 83-70 win over Morehouse. The 6-10 center also finished with two blocks and two assists to help the Tigers clinch their first men's regular season title since 2008.
