Bowlin and Woody Power Tigers passed the West Georgia Wolves

[Columbia, SC] In a packed arena, the BC Tigers continued their winning tradition claiming a victory for the 2008-09 season opener.

Newcomer Bobby Bowlin, a native of Anchorage, Alaska led the offensive attack scoring 15 points while the veteran Martinis Woody claimed 12 baskets and attacked the boards with a total of 13 rebounds. Woody also added 6 blocks and 1 steal.  Bennie Lewis also added 10 points on the night.

Head Coach Fred Watson said, "I thought we came out a little flat but the guys picked up the tempo and play hard. We still have a long way to go but it's very early."

The Tigers will face against Augusta State University in Augusta, GA on November 22nd. Their next home match is December 13, 2008 against Carver Bible College.
