The Tigers tamed the Panthers 65 - 58
The Benedict Tigers played a tough game tonight against the Clark Atlanta University Panthers. The Panthers took the lead within the first half as senior Guard Marcus Carroll and junior Guard/Forward Benny Lewis each contributed 6 points, followed by 5 rebounds made by freshman forward Michael Holmes. This left the score at halftime Tigers 26 and Panthers 32. The Tigers came back strong after a slight slip up as Marcus Carroll scored a total of 18 points while dropping 6 three-pointers, and Michael Holmes made 11 rebounds leading the Tigers to another win with a final of score of 65-58.
