2009 SIAC Baseball All Conference, All Academic & Superlative awards announced
The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and the Baseball Coach's Association announced the 2009 Baseball All Conference, All Academic Team and Superlative awards. Benedict College Head Coach Derrick Johnson took home the honors of Coach of the Year after leading his team to an Eastern Division 2nd place finish in the Regular Season in the SIAC. Also of Benedict College, Christopher Moye received SIAC Freshman of the Year honors. They along with All athletes and coaches were recognized at the SIAC Baseball Championship Banquet held at the Albany Civic Center in Albany, GA on Wednesday, April 29, 2009.
