2006 SIAC Football Players of the Week at BC

Co-Defensive Players of the Week:
Chaz Harris (photo) - (Sr, DL, 6-0, 245, Starkville, MS)
Had nine tackles (5 solo), 4 tackles for loss and one sack in win over Kentucky State.

September 10, 2006

Special Teams Players of the Week:
Martin Degazon (photo) - (Sr, K, St. Lucia, Bahammas) Punted 4 times for 43.2 yd average including one inside the 20 yard line. Longest was 65 yds.

Honorable Mention Performances:
Elijah Clark (photo) - RB - Rushed 22 times for 107 yards and one TD.
Carl Spellman (photo) - DB - Recorded 10 tackles (7 solo) with one forced fumble, one interception and a blocked field goal.

Offensive Player of the Week:
Elijah Clark (photo) - (Jr, RB, 5-10, 175, Hawkinville, GA) In Palmetto Capital City Classic victory over Savannah St, Clark rushed 11 times for 107 yards and a touchdown averaging 9.5 yards per carry earning offensive player of the game honors.

Honorable Mention Performances:
Deon Lanier (photo) - LB - Had 12 tackles (6 solo) including 4.5 TFL for defensive MVP honors at Palmetto Classic.
