Freshman Year Initiative Peer Mentors

Want To Be A Tiger, Earn Your Stripes!

As you make the transition from high school to college, you are probably a bit anxious, excited, and have many questions. The Benedict College Frieshman Year Initiative is designed to assist you in your transition to college life and provide you with answers to your questions. bc-2005-new_student_orientation14-opening_session-peer_mentors.jpgIn our efforts to offer you the most beneficial orientation experience, each year the Office of Freshman Year Initiative selects a diverse group of mature, dedicated, and energetic students we call Peer Mentors to assist with implementing the Orientation program.  The Peer Mentors serve as guides for new students, answer questions regarding the intellectual and social culture of the college, and give you a perspective on life as a BC Tiger. The Peer Mentors are referred to as "The Pride". To learn more about a member of "The Pride", click on his or her name. We encourage you to meet the Benedict College students who will assist throughout the Orientation process.
