Welcome to Benedict College, your home and community for this year, I speak for all of the Benedict Family when I say we are very happy to have you on campus for the next few years. I think you have made a wise decision in choosing Benedict College as the catalyst for your learning experiences: both inside and outside of the classroom.
The quality of your experience at Benedict College will be largely determined by the quality and quantity of effort you put into your academic and social work. Get involved! Work hard to make yourself an active participant in the learning process by interacting on a regular basis with your professors and other faculty/staff members. Work closely with other students, support your student leaders, vote, and keep informed about campus issues and trends. Experience the rich diversity that Benedict College offers. In general, take the time to really make yourself a part of the fabric of your institution. I think you will find the rewards to be numerous if you take this approach to your college education. Remember, "Success Equals Effort." There is no success without hard work.
