Benedict College's Board of Trustees issued a Match Challenge to all alumni who make a gift to this year's annual fund. Our Trustees will match every alumni gift up to a cumulative total of $1,000,000 on a dollar for dollar basis! We want to fully exhaust this match and with everyone giving at least 20% more than last year's annual fund gift. Your National Alumni Association has accepted this challenge. BENEFITS OF ANNUAL FUND DOLLARS
The Annual Fund provides a degree of flexibility in allocating financial resources to areas needing it most. In fact, the Annual Fund:
Stimulates gifts for endowments, bequests and other special gifts of a non-recurring nature from alumni and friends;
Is a tangible expression of support that encourages gifts from outside sources such as corporations, foundations, parents and friends;
Provides consistent income that Benedict can count on each year.
Payment of Alumni dues does not count as an Annual Fund gift to the college.
