Beginning in May, 2006, the Strategic Planning Committee (SPC), organized by the Benedict College National Alumni Association President Elect, Sheryl Good, initiated the process to develop a strategic plan that would elevate the Alumni Association to the next level. Elsie King Hamler was tapped to chair this committee with the able assistance of Jasper Salmond as co-chair. The two led a very capable group of prestigious alumni in the development of a Strategic Plan for the Benedict College National Alumni Association.
