SIAC adds Benedict College grad to staffAugust 1, 2006 Tucker, GA The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference appointed Tina Ivory Sanders as the conference Assistant to the Commissioner for Marketing, Fundraising and Compliance Assistant. Tina comes to the SIAC from the University of South Carolina Olympic Sports Marketing Department where she interned under the watchful eye of Dawn Ellerbe in the areas of Game Day Marketing for Olympic style sports.
Ms. Sanders replaces Assistant to the Commissioner for Compliance and Student Development LaToya D. Green, who accepted an Assistant Commissioner position with the Mount Olive College, and will oversee some areas of compliance along with marketing and fundraising for the conference office. "I have very high expectations of myself and of the conference. My mission is to bring in an exceptional amount of dollars and contribute to the already successful infrastructure known as the SIAC." Tina was a softball athlete at Benedict College and former Miss Benedict 2005-06, where she was a Summa Cum Lade graduate receiving her Bachelors degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Print Communications. So of Tina's work experience includes interning with BET's Road Show as a student at Benedict.
