Dolores Martin Gordon - - Allen Benedict Court 1940-58, Jaggers Terrace 1958-59
At the time of her induction in 1990, Dolores Gordon had served as a Special Education teacher in Richland School District One for 23 years. Gordon graduated cum laude from Allen University in three years with a degree in Elementary Education. In recognition of her many years of valuable and dedicated service to the community as an educator, she was named “Teacher of the Year” at Crayton Middle School.

Frances Davenport Wright - - Allen Benedict Court 1940-47
Frances Wright was the national fund raising coordinator for the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority in Washington, D.C. for five years. She studied Biology at S.C. College and received a Bachelor’s degree in 1962. She was also a researcher for the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington. Additionally, she has co-authored 32 scientific publications.
