The Benedict-Allen Community Development Corporation is a certified housing counseling agency through an affiliate membership of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The agency recently participated in a housing fair sponsored by the Columbia Housing Authority on Saturday, June 19, 2007. Approximately 30 organizations participated and over 200 interested persons attended.
The agency is currently working to assist with the revitalization of the Ridgewood Community. Approximately ten new homes will be constructed in the community over the next year.
