Educational Talent Search (ETS) grant is scheduled to end in August 2007, but the staff is working energetically to meet the requirements of the grant which include students to be served twice. Some of the services ETS provides are: Parents of College Bound Students, How to Get Money for College, Your Future: Preparing for An Education Beyond High School and Funding Your Education. ETS current staff includes: Vivian Bush, Database Specialist; Waijbe Altimar, Curriculum Specialist; Tracy Myers, Administrative Assistant. At the close of the school year, ETS has served 656 students enrolled in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades at Fulmer, EL Wright, Crayton, and Hopkins middle schools; one high school, Dutch Fork, which includes grades ninth through twelfth.

With the summer approaching and the program coming to a close, ETS will be preparing college tours and summer sessions presented by the Girl Scouts of America. During the month of July, selected students will be given an extensive college tour of Benedict College, followed by lunch at Lake Murray.
