The University of South Carolina School of Medicine is dedicated to the goals of preparing students in the art and science of medicine and providing them with a background for further post-graduate training in a variety of fields of medicine.   A distinguished core faculty of basic scientists and clinicians brings to SOM a variety of outstanding academic training and experience.

University of South Carolina Sponsored Programs

The University of South Carolina Office of Sponsored Programs mission is to assist faculty and staff in identifying and obtaining funding for research and other sponsored projects from government and private sources.  The office serves as the central administrator for the submission of proposals and the overall management of grants and contracts for the University.
