Debate Team
Freshmen Honors Program
Students inducted directly into the Freshmen Honors Program from high school have demonstrated academic performance at their schools either ranking in the top 25% of their class and/or scoring at least 1000 on the SAT. Upon earning a 3.2 grade point average at Benedict College, these scholars are duly inducted into the School of Honors.
Honda Campus All-Star Challenge Team
The Honda All-Star Challenge Academic Bowl Team is a group of students who represent the College in academic competitions and showcase their ability to answer questions in categories including science, current events, literature, history, and general knowledge.
Honors Student Association
The Honors Student Association provides School of Honors scholars leadership opportunities and collective voice in the development of Honors activities which impact issues related to Honors education locally, nationally, and internationally.
NGOMA African Performance Troupe
NGOMA (pronounced N-GO-MA) is the Kiswahili word for "We bring the message, we send the message." NGOMA performs African dance, drum, and song regularly on the Benedict College campus and for local public schools and other colleges and universities. The goal is to share African cultural traditions and to provide an opportunity for African cultural study of these traditions.
