Papers, Research, and Scholarly Activities
Research and scholarly activities of the School of Honors Scholars and Faculty will be systemic as faculty members serve as mentors, advisors, and co-authors of academic work in the School of Honors Faculty-Student Research Program. Also, the requirement to write and successfully defend a senior honors thesis remains.
The goal of Benedict College Press is in direct accordance with the Mission of Benedict College "to undertaking faculty and student research that will contribute to the knowledge required to achieve the full and complete participation of African-Americans in American society." The Benedict College Press provides a medium for Benedict College faculty and students and other scholars to publish information in their disciplines related to the African American experience and the world. The School of Honors seeks to offer other publication opportunities for students and faculty throughout the campus, for example:

Scholarship: The Journal of Undergraduate Honors Research - a fall publication of scholarly research by national honors students and faculty. Deadline for submission is May 15. Manuscripts should be electronically submitted on diskette in Microsoft Word or in upgraded format in APA style.
