BC TIGER PREP SUMMER ORIENTATION

Dear Prospective Student:
In just a few months, you will take the next step towards becoming a student at Benedict College where you will “Enter with pride and exit with power.” On behalf of Dr. David H. Swinton, President, the Board of Trustees, faculty, staff and students, we look forward to helping you prepare for an opportunity that will last a life time. The Office of Admissions and Student Marketing will host its annual BC Tiger Prep Summer Orientations which will assist you with your transition from high school to Benedict College. The Orientations are designed to help you and your parents/guardians with the completion of most steps to finalize your Fall 2016 registration.
We will provide you with an understanding of:
- Admissions files completion
Finalizing all financial aid paperwork
- Apply for PIN number (student and parent)
- FAFSA (www.fafsa.ed.gov)
- Entrance Counseling
- Master Promissory Note and
- PLUS forms
- Privacy Act Form (FERPA) for student’s signature
- Campus life and safety
- Required health care forms and coverage
- Student activities
Academic Affairs structure
- The Freshman Institute - class schedule
Please register online for one of the dates listed below:
Saturday, June 18, 2016 starting at 8:00 a.m.
Saturday, June 25, 2016 starting at 8:00 a.m. (Walk-ins are welcome on June 25, 2016 and to report to Antisdel Chapel)
Saturday, July 16, 2016 starting at 8:00 a.m.
