Benedict College hosts summer programs on campus to support the academic growth of elementary, middle and high school students. The diversity of special summer programs (offered by different units) at Benedict College reflects its commitment to providing a broad range of educational, recreational and cultural experiences to meet the needs of the community.

The Benedict College Spring Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2018 Spring Graduates will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018, in the Charlie W. Johnson Stadium in Columbia, South Carolina. Nationally Recognized Journalist, Activist and Humanitarian Shaun King will deliver Benedict College's 2018 Commencement Address. Mr. King is known for his use of social media to promote religious, charitable, and social causes including the Black Lives Matter movement.
