POSTAL SERVICE CHANGES
EFFECTIVE JANUARY 27, 2013
USPS: The Benedict Post Office can assist students in sending mail via the United States Postal Service (USPS) through the following services:
The Benedict Post Office coordinates the delivery of mail to students. Every full-time student is assigned a mailbox in the David H. Swinton Student Campus Center. Each student will be charge $15.00 for their mailbox key, an additional $15.00 will be charged for each lost key replacement. The MSC number assigned will be used for the entire period of time you spend at Benedict College provided you are enrolled each consecutive semester. If you withdraw for a semester and return at a later time a new number will be assigned.
First Class Mail
A class of mail that includes all matter wholly or partly in writing or typewriting, all actual and personal correspondence, all bills and statements of account, and all matter sealed or otherwise closed against inspection. First Class Mail comprises three subclasses: postcards, letters and sealed parcels, and Priority Mail. All important letters and packages may be sent as First Class Mail.

Business Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday-Friday *(*Excluding College's holidays)
What time can I expect my mail to be in my mail box for pick-up?
All letter mail is boxed by noon.
What time can I expect to pick up my packages?
All packages may be picked up between 1 - 3pm.
