The Benedict College Archives and Records was a combined unit, serving the preservation and historical curation needs of the College's written material.  As of July 1, 1997, the two became separate units, each with its own coordinator.  The Archives became part of the Learning Resources Center.

The Media Center is located on the Court Level of the Learning Resources Center (LRC); various educational materials are located in this area.  The function of the center is to acquire, organize and disseminate audiovisual materials that support the college curricula  to maintain a well-rounded collection of a variety of AV materials and to assist the faculty and students in research.
