Each person with borrowing privileges must check out materials on their own borrowing card using their own identification. Faculty, administrative staff, and/or staff member may send a designated person with written instructions and with their identification card to check out a specific item for the employee; NO ONE MAY CHECK OUT MATERIALS USING ANOTHER'S IDENTIFICATION.

The Circulation/Journals (part of the Access/Research Services Department) manages, and maintains the circulating collection of the library. It is responsible for charging and discharging books, returning books to the stacks, and making sure the stacks are in order. In addition, it is responsible for signing out periodicals for in-house use; providing statistics of books and periodical usage; renewing books; maintaining loan and delinquent information; and processing claims and overdue fines.
