Executive Administration

Responsibilities of the Office include providing oversight for the Standing Committee process and for the planning, approval, and implementation of all College-wide programs and events. The Office implements a program of recognizing significant accomplishments and events of faculty and staff, identifying faculty and staff for recognitions and awards, and coordinating special occasions for faculty and staff recognitions. The College Master Calendar is compiled and distributed by this Office.

The President is appointed by the Board of Trustees and is charged with the day-to-day operation of the College. In carrying out their duties, the President is assisted by these principal administrators: the Executive Vice President; the Vice President for Academic Affairs; the Vice President for Business and Finance; the Vice President for Institutional Advancement; the Vice President for Student Affairs; and the Director of Athletics.

2017 - 2018

Benedict College is governed by a self-perpetuating Board of Trustees. The Board makes a conscious effort to be as representative as possible and includes among its members qualified individuals rep­resenting higher education and the church, as well as business, community leaders, and student, faculty, and alumni members. The Board is assisted in its work by several standing committees.
