USPS: The Benedict Post Office can assist students in sending mail via the United States Postal Service (USPS) through the following services:
- First Class Mail – Letters and Packages
- Priority Mail
- Express Mail (overnight service to select locations)
- Certified Mail
- Insured Mail
- Return Receipt
- International Mail
- International Express Mail (usually three to five business days)
- Global Priority Mail
- Postage Stamps (Stamps are available for purchase at the Benedict Post Office. Orders for large quantities or unusual amounts should be placed one week in advance.)
Faculty & Staff
Please be advised that effective immediately all department mail MUST have the department name as part of the sender's address in order to guarantee that undeliverable mail is returned to the sender.
Additionally, RETURN SERVICE REQUESTED must be clearly marked on all outgoing department. If the Postal Service has a current forwarding address it will be posted on the yellow sticker placed on the returned mail.
It is then the department's responsibility to update their files and re-send the letter to the correct address.
