Charles David Brooks, III (Director) is a card carrying member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers, Inc. Credits: Dancer, Singer, Playwright, Director and Choreographer East Coast and West Coast Stage, Film and Television Productions, and past Chair of Benedict College Fine Arts Department, presently serving as Director of the Theatre Ensemble.

Arneshia Williams (Choreographer) is accepted to the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation Observation Pool. Credits: Formal training in the art of dance at Howard University, Professional Dancer, Choreographer, Dance Teacher, and Benedict College Adjunct Dance Faculty.

Herman Jones, Jr. (Musical Conductor) is the Benedict College Director of Bands.

Sasha Allen, (Jarene) is a Benedict College Freshman, majoring in Public Health. Sasha is from Greenville, South Carolina. Her hobbies are dancing, spending time with her family, and watching Lifetime TV with her mom.

Inez S. Bush (Glodene) is a native of Columbia, South Carolina, a mother of two sons and a grandmother. Employed with the South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs for 29 plus years; currently she serve as an Instructor for Staff Training and Coordinator for Volunteer Services.

Brittaney M Chatman (Squeak) is a student at the University of South Carolina; double majoring in Theater Performance with a concentration in Musical Theater/Film, and Broadcast Journalism.

Carrington Hardin (Young Harpo) born in Cleveland, Ohio, a Sophomore at Benedict College majoring in Elementary Education. Carrington is a standing member of The Theatre Ensemble.

Dominique Willoughby (Ensemble) is a Benedict College Sophomore major is Early Childhood Education. Dominique dreams of opening her own creative arts program.

Jeffery Charles Adams (Mister) studied music at Airport High School, Brevard College, and Nashville Tech Community College.

LaQuanisha Robinson (Sofia) is a Benedict College Senior, major is Child/Family Development.

Quartell Jackson (Church Soloist) Singer/Actress

Dyronne Jackson (OL' Mister) Actor and Recording Producer.

Thomas Boyles (Pa) is a Benedict College Senior, major is Biology.

Rakeem Smith (Buster) is a Benedict College Freshman, major is Computer Science.

Marquese Dickson (Grady) is a Benedict College Sophomore, major is Elementary Education.

LeKeatra Daniels (Celie) is from Charleston, SC, an alumnus of South Carolina State University with a BA in Music Industry, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Vocal Performance at the University of South Carolina.

Ara-Viktoria McKinney-Goins (Shug Avery) is wife, mother of 2, Recording Artist, Vocal Coach, and graduate of Columbia College with a BA.; currently pursuing a Cosmetology Degree from Kenneth Shuler.

Ivory Johnson (Nettie), born in Brooklyn, New York, is a Freshman at Benedict College majoring in Mass Communication.

Nooria Bratton (Darlene) is from Atlantic City, New Jersey. Nooria attended South Carolina State University majoring in Nursing. "I have been apart of the theatre world for 8 years and thank God for it"!

Delaney Dunn (Ensemble) is 12 years old and attends Hand Middle School and Workshop Theatre. Delaney has performed in several school and church plays.

Sam Hunter (Preacher), born in Greer, South Carolina, is an Actor, Singer, and Costume Designer for Columbia City Ballet. Sam performed with R&B Bands singing Backup for Moses Dillard and Pebo Bryson.

Derrick I. Jenkins (Harpo), from Eutawville, South Carolina, graduated from Holly Hill Roberts High School. Derrick spent 5 1/2 with the US Marine Corps and he is married to Lyndora Scott.

LaShelle Upton-Moore (Doris) is an energetic mother, illuminating dancer, creative specialist, comical actor, make-up artist, and an aspiring vocalist. LaShelle performed with the University Anchorage Alaska Dance Company.

Shekinah Campbell (Young Celie), is 13 years old, has performed in church plays. Her special skills are in piano and vocals.

Salathiah Campbell (Young Nettie), is 12 years old, has performed in church plays. Her special skills are in violin and vocals.

Samuel Campbell (Ensemble), is 5 years old, has training with the Cabrailsong School of performing Arts.

Kierra Ishmal (Ensemble) is 9 years and attends Joseph Keels Elementary School. This is Kierre first musical play performance.

Amy Weston (Daisy) is Deaconess and Church Business Administrator at St. John Baptist Church (Dixiana).
