All students who wish to be considered for financial aid to help meet their college expenses are urged to submit all necessary applications. Applications received after March 15th cannot be assured of consideration. Students should follow these instructions:
1. Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Online:

Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 11:59 p.m. (EST); not available on the weekends and federal holidays.
For FAFSA on the Web questions, call 800/801-0576/TTY: 800/511-5806. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 11:59 p.m. (EST); not available on the weekends and federal holidays. You can use the automated telephone services to get recorded information and conduct some business 24 hours a day.
For online application status checks, go to www.fafsa.ed.gov and select the "START HERE" tab 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
2. Complete a Benedict College Financial Aid Application and send it with the completed application for admission.
3. Complete a South Carolina Tuition Grants Application between January and March and send it to:

Each eligible student will receive an award letter specifying the amount of financial aid granted and the conditions of the award.
