The Cast Biographies

Maritza Hines is a freshman from Detroit, Michigan. She is an Early Childhood Education major here at Benedict College. She is a high school graduate of the Detroit High School for the Fine and Performing Arts.

Ariel Michelle Hazelton is a 24 year old native of Charleston, South Carolina and a graduating senior majoring in Psychology. She is a member of the National Council of Negro Women as well as a member of the Pre-Alumni Council of Benedict College. Her motto in life is "If you live your life for others, you will never have time to live it for yourself."

Terrance Gerome Tindal is a Public Health major from the historical town of Summerton, South Carolina and graduate of Scott's Branch High School. He is a member of the Concert Choir, Religion & Philosophy Club, and B.A.S.I.C. at Benedict College. He serves as the State President of the South Carolina Black Brotherhood Society, Board of Director for Teaching God's Truth Music Ministries, Inc., and Associate Minister & Youth Director at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Summerton, SC.

Jason T. Blakley is a junior who is majoring in Studio Art with a concentration in Graphic Design. This native New Yorker, who has been acting since age five, aspires to star on Broadway, and eventually own a sitcom. Benedict College audiences may also recognize his past performances in The River Niger, Fences, Five on the Black Hand Side, and Affairs of Our Ancestors.

DeAngelo Rolax is a freshman majoring in Criminal Justice her at Benedict College. He is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and holds the title of 2005-2006 Mr. Freshman. He has performed in Broadway's The Lion King as Simba, The King of Glory, and The Promised One by Steven Howard of Atlanta, Ga.

Floyd Grayson is a sophomore majoring in Elementary Education.

Chylandice "Sade" N. Donaldson is a native of Demark, South    Carolina. She is a high school graduate from Jersey City, NJ. Currently she is a sophomore Accounting major at Benedict College and is a first generation college student.

Don Laurin Johnson is a Senior Sociology major born in Tampa,     Florida.  His interest and participation in the theatre began in community and church productions.  His plans include pursuing a career in stage and screen performance.  Don thanks his family, supportive friends and Most High God for the blessing of life.

Kimberly Michelle Lucas was born February 18, 1985 in Hartsville, South Carolina. She is a junior majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. "I truly believe that you should live day by day and leave your stresses to God the Master of All", says Kimberly.

Darren Davis is a junior at Benedict College majoring in Criminal Justice. Darren is a native of Brooklyn, New York.

Eric O' Bellinger is a native of Columbia, SC and a Benedict College junior sophomore majoring in Electrical Engineering.

Bobbi Patterson is junior majoring in Mass Communication with a concentration in Broadcast.  A Dean's List honoree, Bobbi performed in Benedict College production of Day of Absence.

Marcus Adams is a senior at Benedict College, majoring in Education. He is a member of the Award Winning Benedict College Gospel Choir. This is Marcus's second production with Mr. Brooks.
