The Media Center is located on the Court Level of the Learning Resources Center (LRC); various educational materials are located in this area. The function of the center is to acquire, organize and disseminate audiovisual materials that support the college curricula to maintain a well-rounded collection of a variety of AV materials and to assist the faculty and students in research.
Located in the Media Center, the Media Laboratory contains a collection of over 6,000 items (film loops, filmstrip, slides, multi-media kits, audiocassettes and other commercially produced instructional media). Faculty/staff member only may check out materials for classroom use. For students, media resources are to be used in-house only. (Materials must be requested at least three (3) days prior to the utilization date.)
The Literature Room is used for phonograph and audiotape (reel to reel, cartridge and cassette) machines. The room is available for faculty, staff, and student listening. Headphones are provided and must be used at all times.
The viewing room is for faculty, staff, and student use. The room is used for presentations and reviewing of productions.
