In an effort to accomodate the educational needs of adults and non-traditional populations, and to be sensitive and responsive to their often challenging schedules, the School of Continuing Education offers both an evening and a weekend program. Both programs are designed to extend the resources of the College to adults and non-traditional population throughout the Columbia metropolitan area and beyond. The evening program is offered principally after the regular workday between the hours of 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. The Saturday program runs from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. The major goal of the evening and weekend programs is to help the adult learner balance the need for educational improvement and lifelong learning with family obligations, work responsibilities and other commitments.
