The steps listed below will assist prospective students and/or parents through the admissions, financial aid and scholarship processes.  All deposits (cashier’s check/money order) and required forms (housing and health) must be submitted to the Office of Admissions and Student Marketing.  Should you require additional information, please contact the respective departments via telephone or website (links to the left).  For International Students (see International Student Checklist).

Admissions & Student Marketing

 □          Submit Admissions Application and application fee ($25.00)

 □          Submit official transcript [high school and/or college (s)] for an admissions decision

 □          Submit ACT and/or SAT scores

Institutional Scholarships

 □          Return signed scholarship contract (if applicable) to the Office of Institutional Scholarships (maintain a copy for your records)

 □          Contact the Office of Institutional Scholarships for additional information

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

 □          Apply for Personal Identification Number (PIN) - student and parent

 □          Complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (www.fafsa.ed.gov) online by March 15 for priority awarding or before June 30 if you are a South Carolina resident for possible state funds

 □          Complete the Entrance Counseling (www.studentloans.gov)

 □          Complete the Master Promissory Note (https://studentloans.gov)

 □          Parents should complete the Parent Loan for Undergraduate Student (PLUS) (https://studentloans.gov)

 □          Contact the Office of Financial Aid to verify receipt of financial aid information and additional documents needed

Upon receipt of your acceptance letter, send the following documents to the Office of Admissions & Student Marketing within 30 days

 □       Health form

 □       Housing application to reserve your space (include $50.00 room deposit – non-refundable)

 □       Admissions Deposit ($50.00 – non-refundable)

 □       Intent to Enroll form upon receipt (May)

 □       Request from your Guidance Counselor/Registrar an official transcript(s) with graduation date and diploma type (document must be received in a sealed envelop
