The "college-appropriate" behaviors that the Benedict College Freshman Institute identifies are associated with effort, which is a major component in the College's Success Equals Effort (SE2) Grading Policy. Within this policy, effort is defined as follow

Student Learning Outcome 1 (1AB): Students will increase the amount of College appropriate academic behavior that they complete. Academic behavior will include those behaviors that are designed to increase learning. They included but are not limited to:
