Dr. Gayla Thomas is the Vice-President of Institutional Effectiveness at Benedict College. She earned the following degrees: Ph.D. in Program Evaluation and Policy Analysis from Vanderbilt University, M.P.A. in Public Administration from the University of Tennessee/Tennessee State University, and a B.S. in Accounting from Tennessee State University. Dr. Thomas has more than 30 years of experience in institutional research and effectiveness. She joined the College in October 2010.

He earned the following degrees: M.S. in Human Resources/Nonprofit Management from Worcester State College and a B.A. in Psychology from Coker College. He has also served in the United States Navy for 26 years. He joined the College in January 2001.

Dr. Amaker is the Director of Assessment at Benedict College. He has earned the following degrees: Ph.D. in Educational Leadership & Counseling, M.Ed. in Community/Agency Counseling, and a B.A. in Psychology all from Clemson University. He has also served in various administrative and academic capacities at other institutions during his tenure in higher education. He joined the College in January 2007.
